Betwixt & Between Farm is a small farm in Columbia County, Oregon, where we grow, raise, and hand-craft small-batch goods for our local community and beyond.

We're Vanessa and Alex: two creative, curious people who gave ourselves to a piece of land and built a life around it. Alex leads the way on regenerative farming and sustainable water practices (he's a Master Gardener and sits on our local Soil and Water Conservation District board); Vanessa turns what we grow into tea blends, broths, baked goods, and other small-batch creations (currently working toward Master Food Preserver certification through OSU Extension). We're joined on the farm by our three dogs, Sailor, Farmer, and Maggie.

Our farm is also home to heritage breed turkeys, laying hens, ducks, and AKKPS-registered KuneKune pigs as well as a fruit and nut tree orchard and seasonal gardens.

We farm with food sovereignty and regeneration in mind. We strive for less dependence on industrial food systems, healthier soil, and a small local system worth sharing with our neighbors.
